Prominent businesses join ever-evolving campus
February 10, 2019 (Rocky Mount, N.C.) – Several new businesses have recently moved in at Rocky Mount Mills, bringing even more jobs and community engagement to the renovated mixed-used development reimagined from a 200-year-old cotton mill in eastern North Carolina.
Poyner Spruill, a North Carolina-based law firm that places a high value on a local presence while providing services nationwide, moved their regional office and about 30 employees to Rocky Mount Mills in November 2019. Poyner Spruill’s roots in Rocky Mount are deep, dating back to the early 1900s when founder Frank Spruill moved his law practice here from Henderson, North Carolina.
“With this move to the historic Rocky Mount Mills, we are renewing and strengthening our commitment to this community and region,” said Timothy Wilson, partner at Poyner Spruill. “To be able to do that from a space this beautiful and this cool, surrounded by other professionals in a really vibrant campus setting, just makes us better.”
