“According to officials with Carolinas Gateway Partnership, there is a great deal of ongoing interest in Tarboro and Edgecombe County.
“We’re fielding a great number of inquiries,” explained Gateways CEO Norris Tolson. “The consultants we work with are trying to get all of their bases covered, because they tell us that when things (COVID-19 reductions) open up, the global supply chain chain is coming back on shore. They are getting ready to bring the supply chain back ashore (United States).”
Tolson and Gateways vice-president Oppie Jordan ran down a list of projects that will have impact on the community.”
